CCS in industry by Heleen de Coninck and Thomas Mikunda

Deep greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions in the industry sector to achieve climate stabilisation targets will be difficult to attain without recourse to CO2 capture and storage (CCS) systems. Using a bottom-up energy system model with cost optimisation running to 2100, as well as a short-term engineering cost review, this paper investigates the case for CCS in industrial sectors, including in developing countries.
