We gladly would like to invite you for an online webinar, where we will discuss the industry guidelines focused on CO2 specifications, developed to accelerate Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) Projects. These guidelines are the first of their kind to address the impact of impurities in CO2 across the entire value chain, and they were developed through a recently concluded Joint Industry Project (JIP).
The webinar is hosted by CATO in collaboration with Wood Plc.
Wood launched the JIP together with multiple operators and research experts to gather the latest industry knowledge and insights from operators active in the CCUS space, aiming to understand the effects of CO2 impurities across carbon capture chains. This collaborative effort revealed the negative impacts that CO2 impurities can have throughout the value chain, from capture and transportation to storage and utilization. By identifying these impacts, the JIP project enabled the development of guidelines to set the CO2 specification and perform the necessary CO2 conditioning to ensure the safety, environmental and operational requirements essential for sustainable CCUS projects.
Who should attend:
This webinar is ideal for CCUS project developers, industry professionals, policymakers, and anyone interested in the future of CO2 management and climate action.
