On October 1, 2011 Erik Lysen is retiring and the Utrecht University organizes a special farewell meeting on Wednesday, September 14.This meeting will focus on the extensive energy network of Erik Lysen.

Erik Lysen was project leader and initiator of CATO-1 and most of you know him. Therefore we like to invite you for this meeting where some prominent experts will stand-up and will glance through his 40 years leading energy history. Also the next 40 years will be explored, where the transition to a sustainable energy economy will take shape. Jacqueline Cramer will open this event and one of the experts will be Herman Wijffels. He will explain to you that sustainability involves much more than just renewable sources.
