Call for papers 34th IGC Australia (deadline: 17 February)

There is a call for papers for a 1-2 day Symposium on CO2 GeoSequestration as part of the 34th Internat. Geo. Congress (IGC) in Brisbane Australia, August 5-10, 2012.

The IGC meeting is held every 4 years in a different country and attracts thousands of delegates from over 100 countries. More IGC details can be found at http://www.34igc.org/.

Several sessions are planned on CO2 Sequestration Geoscience issues such as:

  • Storage Site Exploration, Evaluation and Selection
  • Reservoir/Seal Characterization
  • Injectivity, Trapping Mechanisms and Storage Capacity
  • CO2 Pressure and Saturation Prediction/Detection/Measurement
  • CO2 Monitoring, Measurement and Verification
  • CO2 Sequestration Risk Analysis and Mitigation
  • Case Studies and New Projects
