Next year, the 13th Annual CCUS Conference takes place in Pittsburgh. A call for papers has been released, emphasizing 

- governmental frameworks and ongoing CCUS RDD&D efforts for existing and projected new coal-fired and natural gas-fired power plants and industrial processes;

- the potential utilization of anthropogenic carbon emissions;

- progress to develop commercially viable carbon capture technologies and infrastructure for industrial processes that would make utilization possible.

Though the emphasis is on systems and technologies that are being or could be deployed in North America, the work undertaken outside North America that would contribute to progress here is of equal importance.
