DCMR/RCI
In the Rotterdam area the Port of Rotterdam, the City of Rotterdam, Deltalinqs (as a representative of the companies in the Rijnmond region), and DCMR Environmental Protection Agency Rijnmond have established the Rotterdam Climate Initiative (RCI). Collaborating with local government, environmental organisations, individual companies, academic institutions and citizens, the Initiative aims to achieve a 50% reduction in CO2 emissions in the region by 2025, adapt to climate change and promote the economy in the Rotterdam region. In CATO-2 DCMR will be the executive partner of the RCI and will co-ordinate the input of the Region West.
